My wife cleaned stove inc. removing plastic controls for cleaning. She sprayed windex on top. after reassembly she went on to another unrelated chore and the stove just started sparking with an additional spark coming from under one of the controls. Question: did she get windex in on connection (shorting it out)?. or did she loosen connection by pulling control knob off?. I let it dry out for a day and used hair dryer to diffuse any moisture but when I powered it up and tried burners it "arced under one of the controls. Thanks for any input. Oh yeah all controls have a clear plastic protector on them which should prevent moisture.
