Problem: Ice maker stopped working no water coming into it.
After reading every related blog this is what I have done: 1. I changed the filter. 2. Replaced the Dual water valve. 3. Exchanged the leads to the water valve and got water into the icemaker. 4. Used the multimeter as directed on one of the blogs but got NO reading at all. 5. Connected a wire into the labeled holes and nothing happened. Question is: Is there anything else I can replace before buying a new icemaker? :(

Make sure the freezer temperature is below 15 degrees.

Thank you for answering. The temperature was set as indicated but no ice being dump in the bucket. I'm afraid I might have to replace it unless you can think of something else.

If you get 115 volts to the icemaker and it fails to work, you probably need a new icemaker.

I bought the icemaker replacement kit. Can I install from the front of the refrigirator only shutting the water supply or do I have to unhook the water lines on the back. There were no instructions included.

Just three screws to remove and a connector, you can do it with the fridg plugged in.
