I placed a large comforter in my dryer for approx 10 minutes and my dryer started smoking. It works, but it seems to be runnig very hot now. It had been fine. Would I need to replace the belt?
Thank you

Start here:HPIM0729.jpg pop the top so that you can get to the screws that hold the front on. Remove the front and get the drum out. Inspect the rear bearing and the front slides. Check the belt and Idler. probably is the belt. The only way to know is to take a look.
