I have a drip inside the tub where the water comes in when filling. I have not taken anything apart yet. Before I replace the inlet valve, is there a hose connected to the valve that may be leaking? I want to make sure it's the valve I need and if I need to order anything else with it.

Yes, it might be the hose. Take out the screws that hold the console to the cabinet and flip up the console. Disconnect the lid switch and use a screw driver to release the clips that hold on the cabinet to the back. The cabinet will not come forward revealing the inside of the washer and the hose connection to the valves.
