I just replaced the water inlet walve and went inside the freezer to cycle the ice maker and when the water came on it didn't stop. Could it be the timer or do I need a new ice maker. Help!

there is a phillips head screw that you can turn on the front of the icemaker and when it comes to where the water is filling the tray it does not stop.
I don't know if the motor turning it goes a certain speed or is on a timer and I don't know where that would be if it has one.
original problem water continues to run after it run s through a cycle
Frigidaire Model # FRS26R4CB6:confused:

I turned the larger of the two clockwise until the water started flowing and at that point it did not stop so I turned it until I heard it click. I marked the gear with a marker and watched to see if it was moving and it did not look like it moved in several hrs.
