There was a pop sound and the LED display went dead. Now only the burners ignite. the oven or broiler does not as these are controlled by the display which is dead. Why did it go out and what part needs to be replaced?

Sounds like there was a short inside the EOC (aka a clock/timer) which has to be replaced together with the overlay because it's glued on.
