Please, please someone help me! I have a maytag neptune toploader washer and the control board went bad. We had a repairman come out and replace the board but it too went bad within 3 weeks:mad: . Now he says the board is on a national backorder. Here is the kicker, we have been trying to get it since march:confused: . The part number for the board is AP4034182. Can anyone tell me if this is true, is this part on a national backorder and if not, how soon can I get one and how much will it cost me? I already paid this company over $400 and my patience is wearing thin, HELP:eek:

Have you called Maytag customer service for availability? The contact info is in the Service Manual .
Is this something you would want to try to install?
What are the indications of your Control Board failure?
I’m and owner like you and will try to help. E-mail me for some additional info I have a Vcard in my profile.

I would search Google for a pc board repair site. Just tell them the failure and most likely they allready know the fix if it's a common failure. If they don't know, try somebody else. Lots of times the repair is more reliable. They can put higher voltage triaks in, or change components with more reliable ones. Good luck.
