My PSS26 is about 2 years old. The icemaker just stopped working when -- when the ice bin emptied its ice, we noticed no more was being made. The power light is solid green. I haven't measured the temperature yet to see if it's below 17F. It has a horizontal paddle shown in the photo below that I presume starts/stops the ice production. It's tucked back near the ice tray. I guess when the augur turns, an abundance of ice would move the paddle toward the front (which would shut off the ice production)? Is that how it works? Should I try pouring water into the ice tray (from an outside source)? Other ideas? I'm pretty handy and will report back my results. The water dispenser on the door works fine (although the water seems warmer than it used to be). The Crushed, Cubes and Quick Ice lights all work. The solid green LED means there is probably nothing wrong with the ice maker itself. The two things I would do first are: check the temperature in the freezer and check the water feeding tube into the ice maker for a clog or frost.
Post your findings.
Gene.
