Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/10/2010(UTC) Posts: 4		My dishwasher washes AND rinses so much that it drains an 80 gl. hot water heater. I stopped in today after it had ran for 2 hours and 20 minutes! What in the heck is going on? ANY ideas? The water into it is hot enough...so that shouldn't be the issue.

Many newer units have a soil sensor perhaps this is not working correctly so it keeps trying to clean the dishes.
