I have a 1989 Jenn-Air slide in range with a broken burner control. I can't figure out how to get to the back side of the control switch to replace it.

The model number you posted does not come up.

Verify and repost it.

Which part did you call "burner control"? Is it an infinite switch on the control panel?

Gene.

We still need the right model number. If you can post a pictures of the control panel, it might help too.

I have a model C202 cooktop and infinite control switches. My question is basically the same: do I have to take the whole cooktop apart or can I just lever the little panel out. It only has two screws, which I've loosened, but it seems to stick and I don't want to break it.

cs46lee,

Remove the air grill (#4 on the break down diagram), remove the two screws holding the control panel (# 1 on the break down diagram), pull the panel outward yourself and lift it up.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Jenn Air stove Model C202
