My whirlpool gold gsx9885jq1 cloths washer runs fine but will not go from cycle to cycle without some punching of some buttons. It will start to fill but just buzzes when switching from initial fill to full fill, then will not switch to wash cycle. When in wash cycle, it will not go to spin cycle. the old days it used to be the electrical/mechanical timer problem, but it is now solid state so now wondering if it is just in some connection.

Sounds like the problem is a bad control board (#5 on the diagram).
