I had to replace the controller board on my KGSC308LSS0 cooktop due to a damage the controller PCB that happened during countertop installation. The oven itself sustatain no damage, e.g., all the burners function fine, no dents, etc. I have part AP3176181 ( http://www.appliancepartspros.c...05&diagram_id=127725) all re-connected, etc. When I fire power back to the unit the board just sits there, starring darkly back at me. There is power getting to the board. There are two big resistors that seem to be getting hotter than I would expect but that may not be unusual? Nothing burning, smoking or any other electronic frying indications. Am I missing anything in the reconnection? Any easter eggs I need to perform to get the board to respond? Thanks for any help. -- Allen

Allen, If you are sure everything is connected right then, probably the control board is defective. You have to call the APP customer service to exchange the control board under the part warranty. Here are the break down diagrams for the Kitchen Aid range Model KGSC308LSS0Gene.
