We just bought a house that has an older Kitchen Aid side by side refrigerator that came with it. We currently have a newer Whirlpool that we're taking with us. We want to take the older Kitchen Aid one and move it from the kitchen to the garage in the new house and put our newer one in the kitchen.

My question: aside from turning off the water to the older Kitchen Aid, does anything special need to be done to it since it will be just a short move from the kitchen into the garage?

Thanks!
