Two problems that are probably related to each other. When I switch on the ice maker on our Side by Side Whirlpool S21S4D (Australian model) a loud clicking noise can be heard. Once I switch it off the noise stops, but now we hear it intermittently but quieter even with the ice maker off. The strange thing though, if I open the fridge or freezer door the clicking stops.

The same noise can be heard once I use the water dispenser. It's as if there is not enough pressure.

Any advice appreciated.

OK - I have traced the clicking noise to the main control board in the base of the unit. I read in a forum somewhere how you can identify and change one or more of the capacitors on the board to correct the situation. However, I can't find the thread again. Could anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks
