My machine wouldn't agitate or spin, the belt was worn and I replaced it with a 30 inch v belt. It now spins but won't agitate unless I manually spin it back. would 1/2 inch too big make the difference? or why else wouldn't it agitate on it's own. It spins fine now.

Andy,

The first thing you should do is replace the belt with the original. Only after that we can see if there is something wrong with the washer.

- The part number for the belt is AP2044592
