We're trying to determine what happened to our dryer. We thought maybe it snapped the belt, but I see one on there, and although it appears there's a second place where a belt might have been running around the drum closer to the front, the diagram doesn't show a second belt on this machine.

The dryer had been running and suddenly made a loud screeching sound, then stopped. When we tried to restart it, we heard a brief sound of the machine trying to start, but no movement occurred.

I'd appreciate anyone who could give me some ideas on which part might be broken so I can work on repairing it.

Thanks,
Greg
