My gas dryer ( Kemore Model #11073942101) stops producing heat. It still runs with airflow. I can hear one click tone each time I start the dryer, but don't see the ignitor glowing. I found the schematic diagrams for the machine from Sears in the link below http://www.searspartsdirect.com...amp;pathTaken=partSearchI checked following parts with a multimeter, none of them seems having noticeable failure. 1) The thermistor has reading of 15 KOhm. (part# 8577274) 2) The thermal fuse has reading of 0.1 Ohm. (part# 3390719) 3) The ignitor has reading of 60 Ohm. (part# 279311) 4) The Thermostat has reading of 0 Ohm (part# 3403140) Before I did above measurements, I already purchased ignitor and thermal fuse from your website. It seems the new parts don't make any difference. I looked through other threads in this forum and didn't get a clue. Anything else I need to check to identify the root cause? Thanks in advance.

0 ohms from thermostat? That's the problem. Open thermostat :D

Really? Do you mean a thermostat has ‘infinite resistance’ between its 2 terminals when it is in ‘close’ state and ‘0’ resistance when it is ‘open’. I am confused. Could please help to explain a little bit more? Thanks,

I checked the tech sheet. It shows that the high limit thermostat is the serial connection with the thermal fuse. So I assume it needs to be 0 Ohms in room temperature. In other words, the thermostat seems okay. Correct me if I am wrong. If it is not the thermostat issue, the other two items seem to be are: Header relay, or Gas Valve. What I shall expect from the heater relay? is it a voltage of 120V AC? For the gas valve, what is the necessary condition to light the ignitor up? Thanks,

Correct me if I am wrong... You were right but you forgot to check for continuity one more part - the flame sensor (#48 on the diagram). Also check the gas valve coils as described in the Tech sheet (page 6, at right). If there is nothing wrong, check the heater relay. Check for 48 VDC between the two Red/White wires from the electronic control to the relay while the dryer is on. If there is no proper voltage, replace the electronic control board. If there is proper voltage, reconnect the Red/White wires to the relay, remove the two Blue wires from the relay and check for continuity between the COM & NO relay terminals while the dryer is on. If there is no continuity, replace the heater relay. - The flame sensor Part number: AP2910747

It seems the heater relay not working properly. I am going to buy one and test it again. Thanks a lot, Gene.

Gene, It seems the issue not 100% resolved. Sometimes, when the dryer starts, the ignitor can light up and fire the gas. But sometimes, it doesn't work. Probably 1 over 5 times it can start the ignitor. Not sure where to look at the issue further, any suggestions? Thanks,
