I have a Kenmore pro dishwasher. I have had sears out several times and they cannot figure out the problem. They have tested my heating element. replaced my thermostat. but the dishwasher will still not heat my water for hi temp or to sanitize. When the cycle is over my sanitize button flashes indicating that the diswasher was not at the proper temp.
I run the water before I start the cycle. Could it be my control board? Sears says the dishwasher is running properly but it isnt

Here is your wiring diagram http://www.servicematters.com/docs/wiring/Tech%20Sheet%20-%20W10082766A.pdfIf it always does this it should not be that hard to troubleshoot. Measure across the thermostat and heater (W-R to Bu-R) to see if they are getting 120 volts when they should. If not then it will probably be a broken wire from the control or a bad control board. Note: I would expect your cycles to be extra long as the unit would have waited for the water temperature to hit the set points during the cycle. If cycle time is normal then the control board would be at the top of my list as the [probable culprit. |
