Hi guys, Like most of you out there I'm just tring to save a few bucks and get my dryer running again.Had this problem twice in the past with older model dryers and it was an easy igniter replacement. This time the igniter visually appears intact. What would be the next likely culprit? If I have to test with a meter then what would be the most logical troubleshooting protocol?
It would be really great to replace a $10-$30 part and save a few hundred bucks! I greatly appreciate your guys time and knowledge and advice!
Thanks

It could be no voltage to the gas assembly(look for a blown duct fuse) It could be an open sensor. If that flame sensor is open no power to igniter. Open control thermostat would do it. More Here :D
