Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/20/2010(UTC) Posts: 3		I know that the Haier products are junk and it is stupid that they want me to buy a $300 compressor to replace this $6 part is there anyone that can help with this. It is a small black box with one wire going to it that hooks onto the start and run windings. The schem. calls it a PTC. Thanx Kevin:confused:

I have 2 of these fridges so I swaped it out for the working one but now I have 2 fridges and only one PTC. Do you know if there is something I can replace it with because manuf. discontinued the part and wants me to buy the whole comp. to get that $5 part.
