My washing machine will fill with water, but then will not agitate but only click or humm lightly. it goes throught the cycle though so i think the timer is good. Also before it quit something smelled like it burned. I looked for a fuse but didnt see one. Is the motor bad?

Nate,

Lift the washer from the front and remove the belt.

Check if the pump is moving freely.

Check if the motor will run without load.

Post your findings.
