As an update to an earlier post the ceramic in-line fuse tests ok., and the door switches check out ok. Four thermostats are located within the unit--one is what they used to call the flame arrestor and is located in the top of the unit pointing downward and shows continuity (#AP3994055), one is on a bracket attached to the side of the magnetron and shows no continuity (#AP4344046), one is attached to the bottom panel and shows no continuity (part # is the same as the one attached to the magnetron), and the fourth is attached to the bottom panel adjacent to the one just mentioned--this one shows continuity (#AP3994357). Perhaps I am barking up the wrong tree but I thought that all four of these thermostats should show a continuity, but the two with the same part # are open. Would this be a coincedence, and if open would this shut all power off to the unit, or could it be another issue. any comments would be greatly appreciated---Larry

As an update---I also checked the diode which was bad (i have a new 9 volt battery in my ohmmeter) and the capacitor checked out ok, so I ordered the two thermostats and the diode---hopefully, once I fire it up I will see some power to the unit, or I will be out about 28 bucks. Isn't it odd that I found both of the thermostats open (same part #)?? The only thing that I can think of---either the unit overheated, or someone cranked up the stove top---would this cause overheating??

some of those thermals are for the exaust fan and will be normally open until the unit heats up then it closes.. simple put part number in google to find out.

There is a transformer that powers the control board see if you have the 120 volt primary there if you do then suspect somethin on the control board
thats assuming you dont have any lights on the display. ( by the way the transformer is the small one near the control board not the large one.)
