My WP GU2700XTSQ1 dishwasher wont fill with water. How many volts operate the fill valve solenoid? It shows 120V but my irrigation solenoids operate at 28V. I tested the siginal coming from the circut board and it was jumping from 0V to 0.28V DC. Is it DC or AC and how many V should it run off? There are two door switches - one is for the motor? and the other is for what? I could not measure any V going to or coming from this second switch when the latch was in the lock position with the motor running. Could it be this switch needs replacing or is it the circut board? The fill valve does operate when 120V AC is applied. HELP!

[COLOR="Blue"]I could not measure any V going to or coming from this second switch when the latch was in the lock position with the motor running.[/COLOR] Depends where you are measuring to. [COLOR="Blue"] Could it be this switch needs replacing or is it the circut board?[/COLOR] Cannot say, you will have to check a little more. Check that the switches close using ohms, just be sure to unplug or remove power from the unit when using ohms. Perhaps try the diagnostics. Have you checked the bi-metal fuse, Item 6 in Section 2 of the parts? |

Denman - thanks for your help on the water inlet problem. So i went back and checked the ohm reading for all the wires etc. and tracked it down to the power getting blocked at the interrupt water level switch on the bottom by the door. And guess what? The water level float for this interrupt switch was stuck do to soap etc. and power would not get to the water full solenoid, thus my fill problem. Lesson learned? Make sure that the water float is not stuck and save yourself a couple hours of frustration! Thanks again!
