I need some help with this for sure,I replaced the defrost sensor, the defrost elements, the temp.sensor, and the main board and still in the same place.I defrosted with hair dryer and replaced all the parts.Everything worked fine for two days and then the back panel is all frosted up again, ice melted in maker and fridge side is warmSeems the parts I replaced was not the problem.Everyone said I could have bought a used fridge for about $200 but I really do like this fridge. Any help Please..

Yours is precisely why I do not work on Samsung nor LG refrigerators. Both companies over-complicate an already complicated system. You've already replaced the parts i would check, the defrost heater element, the therm which mounts at the top of the evaporator, though the temp sensor is not part of the defrost system, I still would have tested it, and if all those passed, I would test the system continuity via the main board, and if that passed, then id replace the board.

However, for clarity, is this snow like frost evenly thick throughout the evaporator, or is there ice buildup somewhere on the evaporator.

It is like snow covering the entire back panel,It takes about two to three days to cover the panel complete. When I take the panels off behind ot is full of the snow--not really ice ,just thick snow.I did replace the main board when I replaced the other parts. It seems ther defrost element isn't comming on at all.Do you know if there is a timer for the defrost on this model?
I am not a repair man , just a home owner with not much money and trying to save --I can't find anyone that works on Samsung ...so I try myself.
thanks for your help...
