Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/15/2010(UTC) Posts: 6		I need to replace the detergent dispenser on the door of the dishwasher. I was told the part to buy is Whirlpool AP3042848. How do i remove the old one,. and then go about installing the new one. I presume I have to pry off the the exposed covering first. please advize. Arnold Rochwarger

Remove the two screws holding the side trim (on any side). Remove the trim and pull out the outer door panel. The new dispenser comes with the installation instructions. The dispenser Part number: AP3042848 is the correct part number. Gene.
