Last week I was having a terrible squeaking noise in my GE gas dryer. I determined I needed to replace the glides and drum support. I did that and now no more noise.

However...

After putting it back together, it now overheats and shuts off a few mins after the burner kicks on. It didn't have this problem before I did the repair. Is there something I could have tripped or put back together wrong that would cause it to overheat??

Here's what I know it's NOT
- Not vent blockage. I've checked the vent where it exits the dryer and where it exits the house and there is no blockage.
- Not a door switch. It will run a full cycle on "no heat"
- Drum is turning

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

**Sorry for the misspelling in the title. I was meant to say "shuts" off. If someone could change it that would be good

Yes, there is definitely a good airflow coming out of the vent. The weird part is that is was working perfectly before I replaced the glides. Makes me think I did something wrong when I put it back together.
