Yeah, I know. But it's already shipped. Now what do I do with an RCO410.
So you say I should by an URO41. I will take pictures of the URO41 and of my mini fridge, so you can help me.

If you can't help me, I will throw all the fridges in my home, and denounce refridgeration all together even A/C in my car will be stripped out and burned. LOL.

Okay, guess I'll go on ******** again.

I guess I'll use the RCO410 as an igniter for fireworks or something~

Hi .. I am having the same exact problem. A repair tech came to look at it (while I wasn't home) and told me it would be $180 to fix it. I looked around at the replacement relay doesn't seem to be available on the planet, so I was looking for alternatives. This write-up looks really great, but I don't know what happened. If you could give me on update on what you ended up doing, Duce, I'd greatly appreciate it. Right now i have a pretty good light stand. I'd like to either cool a beer in it or bake some bread. Bread is more likely at the moment! Any follow-up advice will be GREATLY appreciated.

PS -- The UR041 appears to be for a 240V system. The UR042 is for 120, which I think this unit is. Anyway, let me know! Thanks! Tom

Hi Richappy .. thanks for your reply. I am afraid I don't know enough about it to answer your question about whether the original start device is mechanical with a coil. I am not sure if you were able to view the photos posted in the original message. I have the same exact fridge, so all the pics apply to my situation, too. It is this model of Frigidaire, 4.4 cu ft - FRT04L5DM0

I don't know if that helps. It looks like the whole cooler unit might have been produced by a company in Spain, Cubigel... I saw their name on the relay I took out .. Cubigel Any help is appreciated .. thanks!

From the pictures, you have a standard start device with a thermister type start device inside the housing.
To hook up the URO41 you will need to check the wiring of the old one. There are two wires from the fridg. to this old start device. With your meter check the old start device continuity. One wire was attached through the klixon shutoff to the common pin of the compressor, the other one whent directly through the device to the run pin. The one remaining compressor pin is the start pin.
The URO41 will have wires labled S for start R for run, and C for common.
