When entering rinse the washer does not recognize when the tub is full and washer overflows

the washer works in all other cycles and agitates and spins it gets stuck in just rinse cycle

just wanted to add that when we cleaned washer well with runningvinegar thru it it worked for awhile. But now it is back to being stuck on rinse:confused:
