Buzzer noise will not stop even if you turn off the unit. Slight defrosting. Door was open slightly this morning.

Have tried unplugging, wait 20 seconds. Still the noise will not stop.
is there a reset button?

There is rarely a reset button on a refrigerator. Try leaving it unplugged for 10 minutes. 20 seconds can actually cause the compressor to short cycle. But to hear it buzzing even when its shut off, is very odd. This is something you might seriously consider having a qualified refrigerator repair service inspect and diagnose.
