There's streakes of oil running into the basket inside my maytag washer. It looks like its coming from the underside of the agitator, between the gap and the basket/Drum.
I don't know if its coming from the drive block, Or somewhere else???
Any ideas?

I took of the agitator and realized there was dirt and grime build up where the transmission comes through the basket. I'm pretty sure this is where the "oily " streakes were coming from.

If you remove the front panel and see no oil coming from the tub seal above the tranny, then your problem is a bad seal and retainer on the tranny spindle.
If so, repost this info and hopefully Gene or others can stear you to a repair proceedure.
