The ignitor glows, but no gas thru the safety valve. This is a new safety valve and I am getting 2.4 volts to it, but the valve says 3.3 vac

Sorry to tell you but you put the wrong part in. The ignitor is your problem. The ignitor is not strong to open the gas valve. Replace the ignitor, and you will be baking biscuits for breakfast tomorrow morning. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
