I have a Maytag Gemini double oven range (MER6875AAS). The control panel quit working when trying to start self-cleaning oven process. The clock displays the correct time but none of the buttons on the touchpad work. No error codes show on the display. Any Hints or advice on how to fix this will be appreciated.

Your control panel is in locked mode. Hold the start button down for five seconds.

I'm having the same problem and have the same model. I don't have a start button on my oven???

Thanks Try to remove the power to the range for a few minutes. Very often it helps to eliminate such problems. If it would not help, replace the control board. - The control board Part number: AP4427175

check with maytag to make sure the board is not on recall. mine was and they replaced it for free

My Maytag Cooking model #MER6875AAB panel buttons weren't working.
The oven was purchased in 2003 or 2004.
The clock buttons were working. Sometimes if I shutoff the power at the service panel for 10 minutes then all the buttons would work for a day or two.
What fixed the problem for over 7 months now is
- turn off the power
- take off the back plate
- spray canned air (aka gas duster/compressed air) over all the components
- replace plate
- turn on power
I used about 1/2 the can.

I used about 1/2 the can. Wow! Thanks Joe. You just saved me over $300!!!!!! I have a Maytag MGR6875ADS purchased in 2005. My control panel was completely blank and unresponsive. Unplugged it. Plugged it back in again. Nothing. Found a replacement control panel board priced @ $311 plus shipping. http://bit.ly/2h4cAyK YIKES! :eek: :mad: Removed back panel. Vacuumed out a cob web or two. Sprayed canned air in short blasts over control panel components. Replace back panel. Plugged it back in again. Voila! Problem solved for $6.99 can of air. :) :cool:

The problem came back after 5 years and this time the canned air didn't seem to have any affect. The problem again is the oven will start beeping and turn off and some of the keys on the keypad won't respond. For example hitting the Clock button does nothing. Hitting the Upper Oven Bake button does nothing. But what did work this time is using a screw driver to slightly pry the control panel away from the base as shown in the picture. I know this oven is over 15 years old and I should purchase a new one but my 15 year old refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave are all still working...Maybe I'll pull the trigger and replace everything after 20 years.
