My oven has stopped working. The cooktop stove works fine, but it is unclear to me why the oven won't heat. The bottons on the stove that allow me to set the oven are not lighting up. I have removed the bulb from the stove, and need to replace it, but I don't think that's the problem. I have unplugged the oven and plugged it back in, but that doesn't seem to help. Please advise.

Sincerely.

In order to provide most accurate advise we need the complete model number of the unit.

Did anyone ever find out what happened? I bought mine in 2005, and the digital readout area got condensation in the panel. It appears that 'short-circated' the panel.....we think. Any ideas would be helpful.

Thank you,
Linda

Hi,

I came across this website, when seeking out others that had a problem with their Kitchen Aid Superba Stove....the oven panel and oven stopped working. I had noticed condensation building up in the digital readout area that shows temperature, etc. It was after that, the digital panel and the oven, stopped working.

The stove continuely beeps, so we keep the breaker/fuse turned off. The stove burners work, but the constant beeping keeps us from using even that.

Before I call a repairman, just wondering if others have had this problem, and if so, did they resolve it?

Thank you,
Linda
