I have checked for continuity on the thermal fuse and the heating element and both are good. The only suspect part that I have found is a thermostat located on the top of the heating element shroud that doesn't have continuity to just one post. Can anyone tell me if this could be the problem or do I need to keep looking?

There are three thermostats on or around the heating element. They all have to be closed to provide normal heating. They are: the thermal fuse (#507 on the break down diagram), the hi limit thermostat (#505 on the break down diagram) and the cycling thermostat (# 506 on the break down diagram). Here are the break down diagrams for the GE dryer Model DHSR333EV0WBGene.
