The knob broke on our Whilrpool washer. I was searching various sites and one stated that I needed to buy a new timer to accomodate the knob. Is that true or can I just buy the knob only? If I have to buy the timer and knob , do I have to buy the timer washer dial also?

Hi,

I clicked on the model number you posted above to see a parts diagram of your washer. Looks to me like you can get just the knob. I see no reason one you would have to get a timer too.
