Remove the belt and turn the tranny pulley in the spin direction. If hard to turn, you have bad bearings or something stuck in the tub, shine a light in the spin basket to check. Also, check the tub center seal area above the tranny for water/grease marks. If everything checks out ok, you just have a bad motor.
