My Speed Queen told loader has started leaking oil into the drum. It's not real bad, but it's enough to ruin a load of clothes with oil spots.

Everything works fine, but when it hits the spin cycle it slings small thin streaks of oil out from under the agitator.

I pulled off the agitator, but haven't gone any further.

What I need to know is there a seal I can replace that will solve the problem or is this a larger transmission problem?

If it's just a seal then I'd like to just replace it myself....if it's worse then I may need a new washer.

Any thoughts?

You can go to the web site www.applianceaid.com for info on replacing the tub seal and bearing. This is at least a two hour job and you may need to rent a gear puller to pull the hub off. Please post results if you do this job.
