I'm trying to repair a GE stove and the repair guy said the problem was the main oven control (OCR) board and I replaced that without any improvement (inadequate heating). I then contacted the manufacturer and they said it could only be the oven sensor so I replaced that; no improvement.
Anyone have any ideas?

What is the complete model number of the oven?
Can you be more specific on the problem?
Gene.

Dear Sirs: The oven/range that mlowder123 is referring to has the model # JB660SOM2SS and the serial number is VM2124300. The main control unit was replaced and the oven sensor with brand new parts from Appliance Parts PRos.
It is our moms stove (she's 85) and she thinks the oven is heating about 10 degrees less than whatever she sets the oven for ( If she wants to bake a 350 she has to set the oven to 360). Is there a procedure to set the stove bake temp so it will be correct? If there is, would you tell me that procedure?

10 degrees out of range should not affect cooking much. If your mom really concerns about it, you can adjust the temperature as described in the Owners Guide (page 20). Gene.

With your last message post for adjusting the oven +35 degrees or -35 degrees. This GE oven was fixed. Thanks for your help GENE. Your page 20 was a great help. I will recommend you to my friends. Mike (mlowder)

You are welcome Mike. I'm glad your mom is able to cook again.
