Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/15/2010(UTC) Posts: 3		I have a Whirlpool LER4634EQ1 electric dryer and it will not turn on when I push the start button. I used a ohm meter and checked the start button and door switch and both are good. What else can I look for? Thanks in advance for any help.

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 8/16/2007(UTC) Posts: 3,273		If the timer advances, you should check the continuity of the thermal fuse(s). Also check the continuity of the door switch. If the timer does not advance, chances are the problem is a bad timer. It can be bad even if it will advance on its own.
