I purchased a new baffle to inatall in dryer tumbler and would like to know the best way to get in to dryer to install the new one. It looks like from the pictures on site the top will lift up but I do not want to start with out knowing the correct way to do this.Thanks Gary

Using a putty knife or a similar tool, press in on the retaining clips between the lid and the front panel. The spots to do so are about 2" from each edge. At the same time, lift up on the lid. This will expose the exterior of the tumbler. You'll then see the hex head screws that hold the baffles.

Ok I found the clips you talked about but I can push them in but top lid will not move at all.Thanks Gary

Try using a small pocket screwdriver.

I found the springs on corner of top on dryer but I can not get the top to budge at all I don't want to brake anything so I stoped. Do I need to look for some screws to get to the tumbler or should I keep trying May Tag Dryer Model LDE8506ACE Thanks
