Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/10/2010(UTC) Posts: 6		When you push the start button you will hear a hum for about three or four seconds and then a click and the hum stops. The drum does not turn. The dryer had been working fine with no problems until yesterday. Open to suggestions.

You will have to remove the heater housing (don't forget to remove the two screws under the lint screen cover), to expose the blower housing.

I went ahead and plugged the dryer back in, and tried it. Still same results, I believe the motor is trying to run for a few seconds (I saw the blower turn slowly) and then it shut off. Any other options?
