I have had my Roper washer a little over 15 yeas. It still wrks great but the cold water is slow to fill. We have checked that the faucet is fully open, the hose is not kinked and there is no build-up, and water pressure in the house is good. It filled fine 2+ years ago when we moved into our current home but has gradually slowed down. It takes at least 5-10 minutes (or longer) to fill a large or extra-large load. Is there something else I can check?

Only way to check is to actually run the water into a pail.
Undo the cold hose at the machine and run it into a pail to see the flow. Some hose washers include a filter screen, also hoses can collapse internally.

While it is off check the screen filter on the input side of the machine's water valve.

If the plumbing has a burst protection device, these can cause problems.

If all OK you probably need a new water valve assembly, Item 18 in section 2.
