Hello,

I have a KitchenAid side by side KSCS25QFWHOO and the old relay was removed without notice of what color wire prong of three was on which position of 1-4 on the relay. New relay #2262181.

Thanks,

b

If you got the original factory part, you can pull out the service sheet under the front bottom kick panel and it should show which wire goes where.

Thanks Rich,

The service sheet is missing. That would have been too easy.

Any more thoughts on which color wire goes where ?

And what will happen if I don't get them right ?

Thanks,

b

You will need a meter to check out the compressor, if not, you could damage the compressor, although hard to do if you have the factory parts.
The start winding is momentarily turned on by the start device, if power on all the time, it will burn out!.

Great ! Thanks Denman!

Could someone check the diagram and see if it looks like to you as it does to me the blue is top tab on right and white combo wire is on top left of relay ?

The start relay part # will not work (2262181). A picture of it would help. Also, you should get a cheap digital meter so we can help.
