I still don't understand if this assembly is the 'total' fix for the dispensor....is there a control board or an electronic element to the device?

I have the same question (how to install a new dispenser), but for a Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher (Model # 665.1636-9301). :rolleyes: The replacement part I have is #8558129. It looks as if it will fit in place . . . but I don't know how to take out the old and put in the new. Tips? Thank you! Laura

Laura Laura, You can use the same instructions or the instructions from the Service manual (page 17). The Part number: 8558129 you posted, is the correct part number. Gene.
