Our icemaker will dispense only crushed ice on both the cube and crushed settings. Is there as selonoid problem? Is so, where can it be found? Or is there another issue. A part number would also be helpful.

Thanks

Here's the part number to the solenoid assembly.Part number: AP3965560
Part number: AP3965560
. It is located behind the panel that holds the ice maker and auger drive. Before you purchase the new part, try lubricating the existing one. Sometines the condensation from the defrost cycle will cause rust build-up on the solenoid shaft, and it will start to stick, then eventually, completely sieze up.

Found out that the long 12" shaft that opens and closes the cube dispenser was not resting in the fork of the dispenser door. Someone had reassembled it wrong.
