I replaced the water valve on my bosch dishwasher approx. 7 months ago and now it appears to have gone out again. Is this a common problem with bosch water valves?

If the valve is sticking open(won't shut off) you may have sediment in the line that is keeping the valve from shutting. If it is not operating, check that the wiring terminals are tight. Loose connections can create heat that will cause the solenoid to burn out faster. It is possible that you just got a bad valve.
