Hello all, So while getting my Kitched painted I had to move my Frigidaire freezer chest from the wall into the middle. While doing this I noticed that some cable got loose in the process. I was hoping that it was just the ground wiring which I doubt was ever used but a day later everything is defrosting. I assume I found the solution but I did not want to mess up the freezer or worst electrocute myself (wife would find a way to kill me again if she found out). In the first pic, I feel where I labeled "A" and "B" this is where it probably poped off from. With the freezer plugged out it I tried this theory and it seemed to fit. Only concern for me was if the black was supposed to go to "A" or "B", Yellow to "A" or "B" vice versa... Then I see a white cord and that made me even more confuse. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks! marburyguy attached the following image(s):

Thanks for the reply Denman.
So does that mean I should just connect the yellow and black cable and leave the white one alone?

I do not see a white one. The plug you show does look like it was made to fit this thermostat.
Perhaps a Model Number will help. I may be able to find a wiring diagram for this unit. |

The yellow/black connector should go the the thermostat. The yellow wire from the connector then goes to your start relay on the compressor. The white wire should attach to your compressor. |

Ok, I feel dumb. Looking at the diagram I see where the white should go and now its powering up again... Now the test to see if it is actually working begins.
