Food is being frozen solid in my refridgerator and now the water line has frozen and you can't get water in the door or ice to make. Please advise. I'm thinking its the thermostat because no changes are made if you adjust it. Thanks-niloa@lawrenceville.net

If the compressor is cycling on and off properly then it's not the thermostat. If it runs constantly, then yes. Put a thermometer in the freezer. The ideal temp is 0. If it's 20 below, it's too cold. That will cause the same symptom. Simply make an adjustment. It should be 36 in the frig. http://www.upthemileage.com http://www.appliancerepair-shiawassee.com
