Having problems with the compressor not kicking on. Just buzzes for about 5-10 seconds and stops. Figure (more like hope and pray) it is the relay on compressor. I believe that it is this one, Part Details - MAYTAG OVERLOAD/RELAY KIT, part number: 12002794 The old relay has the same big long code of 4SP04D419LF on it.

However I thought I read somewhere that if the serial number started with a 10-22, it would be this one, Part Details - MAYTAG KIT, OVERLOAD/RELAY, part number: 12002784

My serial number is 11607313EC. I did find this thread with the same "11xx..." serial numer here, MSD2732GR More Buzzing & Clicking - Appliance Blog Forums

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Chad

Hi Chad,

According to the Appliance Parts Pros database the right OEM part number is 12002794.
