You have to check both the switch and the heating element with an ohmmeter. Any burner can be replaced separate. Here is the Tech sheet. Here is the Service manual. If I try to turn on the larger burner on the right side it will come on by itself. If I try to turn on the smaller burner on the right side they both come on. My wife was almost burned because of this. Our cooktop is 2.5 years old.
